So I hope you enjoy my little journey of day's gone past. Fall makes me a little melancholy but in a thankful way. I have so many things to be thankful for. So thank you for reading my blog and sharing your comments. Enjoy!!

ANOTHER BEFORE FAMILY ROOM
A PANORAMIC OF THIS UNFORTUNATE FAMILY ROOM The tiny little kitchen on the other side of that paneled wall in the family room. The day I walked into this house I immediately envisioned this space completely different. I even had a solution for that unfortunate fireplace. This remodel was a true test of patience, understanding and love. LOVE OF THE DESIGN PROCESS. |

NEW FLAGSTONE PATIO AND OUTDOOR FIREPLACE |
The fireplace was originally inside that unfortunate little family room.....This was my solution....just reverse the fire box.....and WOWZER!!
Another little Patio with a Flagstone walkway
I look back at this project now and I am proud. I see things that I would probably have done differently. But I think every good designer will look back on a project and want to tweak something. I am learning it is part of the process.
So this was my little mental vacation. I squeezed this little post in between major projects that are due in drafting, color theory and graphic techniques. So I am back to the drawing table.....literally!! I need to get back to work honing my skills. I know that I will come across another remodel project. Now instead of using hand jive and stick drawings I will be able to hand a contractor a set of plans and maybe only make two trips to Benjamin Moore instead and twenty. And instead of describing to someone my vision I will be able to render it.
