1. Drafting: I have drafted a commercial space including a reflected ceiling plan, elevations, finish plan and a construction plan. Up next is a two story residential house.....Yep. I just created the base plans which will be used to draft the rest of the project. Unlike the commercial space which was hand drafted four separate times. Seriously...I have memorized the measurements of that entire space....and hope I stop dreaming about it soon!!!!
3. Graphic Techniques: I have rendered several different interior spaces including a master bedroom and a living room. . I have rendered in two point perspective. I did a floor plan and landscaping.
2. Color Theory: I have made a color wheel, Chroma and Value Charts. I have also built two models out of foam core.....oh yeah..that was interesting. The good thing is I still have all my fingers. Wowzer.....if you have never worked with foam core it is difficult and requires the use of different types of exacto blades to get different shapes. Of course you learn very quickly that envisioning a design and executing one are two different things. Hmmm......they could of just told me that....but lesson learned.

In the works are the following projects: A two story residential plan. I am currently in the midst of drafting the plan. I just finished another model for color theory and still have my final project which is designing a color scheme for a residential interior. In Graphic Techniques I am in the midst of rendering a chair in water color. I have to create the chair in Google sketchup and then hand draw it in 2 point perspective and render it based on a fabric of my choosing. Also there is a final project yet to be assigned. Hummmm.......DEEP BREATH!!!
Thanksgiving is in two weeks and I can't wait. I have a huge Thanksgiving planned. Of course since there is only five weeks left in school I also have several HUGE projects due right after Thanksgiving. The timing sucks but soon after I will be on a LONG winter break. I desperately need it.
Oh and about Thanksgiving......I always look forward to creating a table scape for Thanksgiving and in my spare time I have been envisioning a bold color scheme. I have red leather dining rooms chairs and I am thinking Cobalt Blue, Red and Gold......add some amazing wine....and a meal cooked by Chef Jeff (my adorable Husband) that will include Two turkeys, A Prime Rib and side dishes galore.....a few desserts and presto!!!!!! A Thanksgiving to remember. I saw this picture of a table scape designed by Eddie Ross in the Lonny Magazine....it is certainly good inspiration.
