Reminiscing about Savannah and Charleston

River Walk in Savannah

Fall......there is just something about this season that makes me a little melancholy.  The crisp air.  The crunch of the leaves.  The brilliant colors.  The realization that another year is coming to an end.   My favorite holiday is fast approaching.  I  feel like an excited little kid with many ideas running through my head from decorating my house to hunting for the best pumpkin.  Then with Thanksgiving fast approaching I am thinking of a new  tablescape for my dining room table and of course the ultimate....my Christmas tree.   And of course once Christmas is here I will have one semester of design school under my belt.  Woo Hoo!!

Last year at this time my husband and I were in Savannah and Charleston.  I am in love with the south and all things southern.  Since I can't get back there this year I thought I would take a mental vacation in between drafting and many other projects whose due dates are fast approaching.   Here are some pictures of my most favorite places in Charleston and Savannah.

Middleton Place

Middleton Place.  I love the Spanish Moss and those Azaleas.

Scary Ghost Tour....check out those orbs.

My next house...  well not really.  But I wouldn't mind staying there.

I really wanted to knock on the door of this house.  In my mind I thought how cool would it be to knock on that door and be invited in for some ice cold sweet tea.

Well that was my little mental vacation.  I hope you enjoyed it too!!  I need to get back to  my school work.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
