A little romantic excursion

Ok so I am off for one last little trip.   I really am squeezing every last bit of fun out of summer before school starts ....and throwing in a little romance too!!  Woo Hoo!!!  My very romantic husband is taking me to Denver for 5 days. Colorado holds a bit of nostalgia for him and he has been wanting to take me their since we first met.  He has been researching everything he wants to show me and has a full and complete jam packed itinerary.  We will be up at the crack of dawn every day and out and about until the late evening to cram everything in.  I will have a full report for you when I get back.  So until then I thought I would share with you some of the things we have planned to see and do.

First stop is Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs

Then we are headed to Cripple Creek

Then Central City

And then of course Denver

We are also going to check out Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel...........remember the hotel in "The Shining".

Stanley Hotel Lobby
Stanley Hotel

I hope we run into a ghost or two!!!!!

Then we are off to Ft Collins and Boulder...........All this in 5 days.....There will be no sleeping in late on this little vacation.

But that is o.k. because this is the Colorado I can't wait to see.

I will be back blogging soon........and my classes start in 7 days.   Woo Hoo!!!!!

My problem is...I would mess up taking a picture of a concrete block...honestly. I do love viewing God's creation as captured through the camera of others and you have done that quite well.
I came across your blog through another blog I follow and have signed up as a follower. When you’re free, please do visit me and let me know what you think of my blog and leave a comment.
